Puzzle Quest: Challenge Of The Warlords By Omegapandor By omegapandor on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Puzzle Quest is one of the most addictive puzzle games of all time. While it falls into monotony in the later stages, I would still recommend Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords to any serious puzzle gamer.

Puzzle Quest has its roots in bejewled where you are matching gems for points. In Puzzle Quest, you match gems for mana which can, in turn, be used for casting spells. Spell can do a variety of things, including damaging your enemy, gaining more mana, manipulating the gem board, and so on.

AudioVisual: The graphics are gorgeously drawn CG anime, and the interface makes feels like a really solid flash game. The audio is good but does fall into repetition later on. I usually just play the game without sound as I've heard the music plenty, and there is no voice acting.

Story: The story is a throwaway, unfortunately, but the deep and addictive gameplay makes up for it.

Content: Puzzle Quest packs HOURS of gameplay in the main campaign alone, and the instant action and multiplayer modes only add to this.

Value: Puzzle Quest is definitely worth the money. It will get old if you wear it out, but you'll always be back for more.
