This item is great for any potlucks or family gatherings you might attend. I live about 70 miles away from my closest relative and this bakeware has come in real handy.

It is made from Pyrex which is a company that has been around for a long time and has made good quality cookware. With all the problems with stuff made in China lately, I like this cookware because it is made in the USA.

I like it because I can make my famous vegetable lasagna for a family get together in this bakeware. Then all I have to do it add an hot/cold pack in the carrier and the lasagna will stay hot for hours. The first time I used this I wasn't too sure if it would keep the food hot for our long drive but it was still nice and hot when the family went to eat it.

I also like how the carrier has a place for utensils, so I can always bring along my favorite spatula,

I have not tried any cold food so I can't honestly say it works with cold food, but I can't see why it wouldn't.

It is safe to use in the oven, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. That is really nice when you have leftovers. You can just put the whole thing in the freezer or refrigertor and the next day put it right into the oven.

I really recommend this especially if you go to a lot of potlucks.
