Quantum of Solace

Aw James Bond.The men all want to be him, while the ladies all want to be him.He really is probably one of the coolest characters to ever live.He can do virtually anything, and always gets his girl.So how does the new addition to this great collection of stories add up?Well, with action scenes and car chases, its top notch, but story wise?Not so hot.Daniel Craig is a great addition to the James Bonds, hes witty, tough, gorgeous, and raw.But, even he cannot seem to save this one entirely.While there are some amazing scenes, the opening car chase being one, and the amazing scene involving the opera was a beautiful treat, I just feel that overall the story lacked and seemed to have virtually nowhere to go.I even feel the opening song left me wanting something a little more upbeat.Casino Royale was a great addition to the James Bond series, while I feel this one was not so much.Is it enjoyable fun?Yes.So if you are wanting that brief fix of everything James Bond, it will give it to you, its fun, it really is.Its just not great.And I feel the female lead was a little miscast.Although Jeffrey Wright is always a treat.Overall its an entertaining, fun film.
