Queen Anne Cordial Cherries Yum!
By a-w-omyn onMy grandmother used to send me a box of these every Christmas.They were my favorite then, and they are my favorite treat now.Of course, it's not entirely helpful for my diet, lol, but hey, everyone deserves a day off from watching their waist line every now and then.
The cherries are surrounded by a creamy white, sugary filling, and cherry cordial sauce, and then encased in dark chocolate.They are a good size, and there are generally 5 of them in a tray (3 trays in the package I typically get for $3.00, with tax included, from the corner store).
Sure, I have a bit of a biased, associating these delectable treats with memories of my grandma and Christmas presents.But, there's more to the flavor then mere nostalgic value.They are just plain deliscious!If you enjoy cordial cherry candy, these really are the very best.
