Now here's the rest of the story, as they say. In my review "Pink and Pretty Quilt" I mentioned that I had purchased a matching quilt, sham, and bed rest for my writer's get-away at a local motel. Now here's the part that's really fun! I also bought a matching Princess Pillow. Yes, an adorable pink velvet feel pillow with crystals in the shape of a crown! How much fun is that?

Whenever I get up in the mornings (when I'm away from home), I make my bed, and put my pink quilt and sham with a heart design on the bed, then prop up my pink corduroy backrest, and right in the middle goes my princess pillow! Too cute! It was something that I purchased just for fun. I've been through some rough times lately, with my relationship with my mother. We are, sadly, now estranged. I never felt much like a princess when I was younger, so now I can make myself feel like one, on an occasional writer's holiday!

My husband always come to visit, when I am in the local motel for a few days, and he really enjoyed my princess bedding. We laughed and had a fun time admiring it. I keep the pillow, quilt and sham in my study, on display, when I'm not actually using it. It's something that makes me smile and feel happy!
