Quick Serve Bottle Warmer
By jayjay1113 onI searched high and low to find a bottle warmer that was safe to use to re-heat breastmilk. I am returning to work soon after a year of maternity leave (isn't Canada GREAT!) and want to continue to pump & breastfeed until my son is completely on solids. You'd think that a lot of bottle warmers would be able to heat breastmilk but believe me, not a lot do. This until I found the Quick Serve Bottle Warmer by The First Years!
Not only is this bottle warmer safe to use on breastmilk but you could also use it for mixed formula bottles and even jars of baby food. This bottle warmer accepts all bottle types - glass, disposable, angled or wide-neck. There is also an adaptor ring that you can adjust if you have a skinny bottle to prevent it from tipping sideways.
Like all other warmers water and steam is used for this one also. It comes with a measuring dropper with white marks on it to let you know how much water is required for the different types of bottles. You and pre-fill the dropper with water and place it in its handy holder on the side of the warmer for future use. I like that I don't have to go and get water from the bathroom tap when my son wakes for his nighttime feeding.
The on/off button lights up to let you know the bottle is warming and turns off when its done. I love the fact that there is also an automatic shut-off so I don't have to worry that a bottle could get burned and start a fire if I fall asleep waiting for it to warm up.
I recommend this bottle warmer to all nursing mothers that may have to leave their baby with someone while going to work, shopping, etc. The caregiver can safely use the Quick Serve Bottle Warmer to warm the pumped breastmilk and it will not overheat, so the beneficial nutrients within the breastmilk is maintained.

This sounds like a really good investment to protect your milk and maintain your goals for your baby.
I agree with you-I think all moms should have this-this would also be good to give to grandparents who babysit them the kids.
Agree, Canada is GREAT! :) Sounds like this is a great investment and sure beats the danger of warming in alternative waves (i.e. microwave as some people have done...scary). Great info for anyone caring for a little one. Thanks
Wow, a whole year's maternity leave? That is really great! This sounds like a really versatile product.
