QVAR - none given review
By mrsboz onQVAR is one medecine that I would recommend for anyone that has a young child with asthma.My daughter has ashtma and she has been on medecine daily since she has been five months old.For the first five years of her life she was on a steroid medecine.Every time that we tried to take her off of her steroid medecine she couldn't breathe on her own.We would constantly be putting her back on her medecine.Well, when she was five years old and we tried another specialist he said that she could try QVAR, which would do the same thing as the steroid medecine that she was on but that it didn't have steroids in it.So, skeptically, we tried it.Well, we were surprised that it worked and it worked well.The other big bonus for us is that we didn't have to use a nebuilizer machine to administer it to her.It is just with two puffs on an inhaler twice a day.What a time saver - how relaxing.Heck, ya, I recommend this medecine.
I used to be on this medication, and it worked well for me. I was under the impression that it was a type of corticosteroid, but it's been about seven years so they may have changed the formulation since then. I'm glad you've found something to help your daughter live a more normal life (and give you peace of mind!).
