I LOVE Rachael Ray's new magazine Every Day with Rachael Ray. It's fabulous. I watch her show when I happen to catch it on and I own one of her cookbooks (that was a gift). I didn't love her before I read her magazine...now I'm a huge fan.

I live to entertain...it's part of who I am..and this magazine is my cup of expresso (I don't do tea...haha). I love the recipes...they are all do-able, not fancy-smancy ones that you don't know what half the ingredients are. I dog-eared my first copy to pieces and I've read it over and over. I cannot remember the last time I felt this way about a magazine. In fact, I leant my first copy to a friend for a beach read and she didn't return it so I went and got another one (unheard of for this self proclaimed cheap-o!)

I enjoy reading the articles about Rachael's travels and the different places she dines...there are always good recipes from the places she visits. Also, there are wonderful articles about parties with different themes that have recipes that are very easy to follow. I've used several of her ideas in my own entertaining, with a little tweaking to fit the situation. For example, she did an article on an outdoor movie night (a grown up one). We do a family movie night during the summer in my neighborhood, so I used her ideas and made them more kid friendly. It was very easy to do and my friends thought I was some kind of creative genius.
