Racing Stripes By ArmyGirlfriend on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Racing Stripes is a movie about a zebra. No, not just any ordinary zebra. A zebra whose only wish is to race in Kentucky's most prestigious race. I believe that this movie is definitely suitable for all audiences. Although it is rated PG (parental guidance suggested), is has only some mild humor, and is suitable for everyone. I'd let my child see it. The story is set in a barnyard of animals such as sheep and ducks. The spunky Stripes teams up with the jockey named Channing Walsh to train for the winner's circle. This movie inspires people to dream big, even if you are a zebra in a world of horses. The movie is made much like the popular movie Babe. There are live animals and live people. I think this movie is truly heart-warming and brings you a cheerful spirit. Overall, I'd recommend it for everyone!

This is a great movie. The actors are superior. I have enjoyed it everytime I've watched it (and I've watched it a lot). It's really interesting to see how the directors made the animals so believable. That is real skill. The lessons learned in this movie (that you can accomplish anything if you put your heart into it) are so valuable that we watch this movie all the time.
