Radiohead In Rainbows By Tony on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I was able to download Radiohead's new album from their site recently. The unique thing about this release is that the album can be downloaded for a price that the consumer determines. So if you want to pay nothing for the album, you can. A novel concept.
I have been a long time fan of Radiohead, but I must say that I prefer the guitar driven band, not the electronic version. This album tries to blend those two bands.
I so wish Radiohead would make a full out rock album, with no drum machines. I don't think that will be happening anytime soon though. The songs on the album are strong and carry the distinctive Radiohead "sound." Fans of the band will not be disappointed in the album and will sure love the price!

I like their early stuff. I haven't heard the new one yet. I think I will wait until a friend has it first, then give it a listen. Thanks for the heads up.
I like their early stuff as well. But I was wondering about this one when I saw all the ads for it and the unique sales technique. Thanks for filling me in!
