Raiden and Solid Snake on the PC

Being a port of the popular ps2 game of the same name, the pc port is bound to be several setbacks. The most annoying setback is the controls.Since every action requires the keyboard for input, you'll find yourself pressing several awkwardly placed buttons at a single time while manipulating the arrow keys to find a good shot. This is why it is best if you find a ps2 controller to usb adapter so that you can get the console playing experience without your clunky keyboard.Fortunately I already had a ps2 controller to usb so I was able to play it as if it was already on the ps2.A problem with this though is that you would need to buy a pressure sensitive controller as the game does support pressure sensitive button presses.I unfortunately did not and now I can't holster my gun when I don't want to fire.Another problem with the port is that if you set the textures to a higher level than low to medium then no textures will appear. This is quite annoying since PC's are able to render more detailed textures but are still limited to the quite dated ps2 looking textures.I have a 7900GS 2 gigs of ram and a 2.4 Pentium D and I would like to utilize the potential of the game but I couldn't.The gameplay remains the same as the ps2 version and nothing has been added so if you tried and liked the ps2 version and enjoyed it and want it for the pc, make sure you have a ps2 controller to usb adapter and don't be dissapointed if you won't get the sharper graphics you desire but even with these setbacks I still enjoyed playing it on my crisper computer screen than my tv.
