Rain X Doesn't Do Fog Well By Brandy Norton on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I was going on a long trip by myself awhile ago and wanted to make sure everything would run smoothly. My windshield is the worst about fogging up. I seen this Rain X Anti Fog at Wal-Mart, a few days, before I left. It was around $7.00 for 7 ounces. To me, that's a little high, but I thought, "hey if it works, it would be worth it."

I got this product home cleaned off my windshield like it says to and put the Rain X on it. All looked good, until I went on my trip. The weather was bad. It was raining and the fog started building up on my windshield.

I believe this stuff made the windshield worse. I would turn the defrost on cold. It did not help. I turned the defrost on hot. It did not help.

I had to crack the window and get wet. Plus use a paper towel and keep wiping the window. That was the only way I could see where I was going.

I gave it a five for easy to use, because it was very simple to apply.

I gave it a four for durability, because it was very durable. It took a very long time trying to get this mess off my window.

I would say," on this one, save your money and use vinegar and water".
