Hi Friends. A couple of years back when my son Alex started playing baseball in Australia his team didn't have a scorer,so I volunteered to do it. I have been scoring baseball games for a long time, but I have never taken the time to learn to score in colors. When I put my hand up to do it this time, the head scorer for his baseball club suggested I try to learn it,as this makes it so much easier for the coaches to get the stats at a glance. I agreeded and she told me to start with just a couple of colors at first. For example a true earned run is green and an error is red and so on. Well I knew I had to have a fine point because the amount of space to record this info is mini at best. One of the other scorers gave me a lend of her set of pens and I fell in love with them. The Staedtler tri plus o.3mm was her pen of choice and mine as well. The set comes with 10 colors that are triangular shaped for comfort. The plactic box is constructed most ingeniously to allow you to flip the top back to create a stand. These pens are made in Germany and of very high quality. I have been using the same set for just on 2 years now and they are still going strong. As I have now graduated to all colors and even do trainig of new scorers coming into the club, I always suggest these pens, just as they were suggested to me. Give 'em a try. Cheers

Interesting. I didn't know about keeping score in colors before. The pens sound nice. babmek
