Rayovac Batteries By Stephanie Mas By Stephanie Mas on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Because it is only my husband and I, we don't use a lot of batteries. We don't have to put batteries in toys and we don't use enough products that requere batteries. Yes we have TV remotes, but those don't seem to go through batteries in a short period of time.

That being said, when we do need batteries, we usually buy whatever is on sale or whatever is cheaper. This time around, we bought Rayovac Batteries. They were fairly cheaper than other brands of batteries so we decided to try them.

We bought these about six months ago in a twenty four pack and used almost all but four. So far the batteries have met our standards and have lasted this long. We haven't replaced them in a while. We keep the remainder in the refridgerator and they hold up pretty well there too.

These come in four, eight, twenty four, or forty eight pack so if you use a lot of batteries then you won't run out so quickly. I would reccomend these batteries to anyone who is looking for batteries. You will spend less on them and still have some left over for those times when you run out last minute.

I've never heard of keeping batteries in the refrigerator, thanks for sharing!

I had an Aunt who was a strong supporter of putting just about everything in the fridge :) batteries, nail polish, even her cigarettes so I imagine there must be something to this method of storage :) We've used these batteries and they've actually been pretty decent - they didn't work all that well in my son's wireless mouse though but for almost everything else - no complaints. Thanks for the info
