Reviewing: Razer Death Adder Gaming Mouse
Purchased at: Best Buy     Price: $59.99 USD

The DeathAdder is my current mouse that I use every day. I bought this mouse at least two years ago when I was in the market for a new gaming mouse. It has served me very well for the past two years and I haven't had any major gripes with it since I bought it.

One of the best qualities about this mouse is how much you can customize it using the Razer software. Some of the options that you can customize with this mouse include sensitivity, scroll speed, double click speed, polling rate, and dpi. Also, under the advanced options, you can change the sensitivity of both the x and y axis along with being able to change the win pointer speed and acceleration. You can also physically customize this mouse by controlling the LED's on it. There's a blue LED in the scroll button that you can toggle on and off along with a Razer logo that constantly glows. Another great feature of the software is the ability to have multiple profiles. These profiles allow you to save different sensitivity changes, for example you can use different profiles for different games or applications. All of this customizability software is very easy, so there is no need for any advanced computer knowledge.

Regarding the ergonomics, generally the flatter mice that Razer produces I don't like the feel of. But the DeathAdder isn't one of those kinds of mice. I've used this mouse for hours on end and have never felt any pain or soreness; it fits well on the hand.

Overall, I'd recommend this mouse for anyone that is looking for a high end gaming mouse or even if someone is just looking for an overall great mouse. The only negative thing that I could think of for this mouse was the price at about $ 60.00 it is a little more expensive than the average mouse but I think it is worth every penny.

Oooo.. and it's not wireless? I never feel comfortable about gaming with a wireless mouse in case the batt dies on me in the middle of something. That's a pretty nice design.
