RCA Televison with Xbox port
By Ally_DeVille onI like this television, the picture and sound quality are great!The size of the screen is 32 inches but it takes up a very large footprint.The speakers are located on the side of the unit which made it difficult to get it into the entertainment center; it's very wide! The remote is big with a lot of useless features but since I have a universal remote system for the cable it became basicially unecessary.
It does have a nice feature that came in very handy, it's own port for the Xbox system-- really nice to have and it means that the other input/output ports remain free.I like that I can keep the wires all separate!
The one thing this TV has that is highly aggravating is the Guidestar system, basically it lets up set up cable/satellite and vcr through it but if you have a cable box it's totally useless.Deactivating was a challenge, there isn't clearcut directions in the instruction manual on how to deactivate it; you have to just keep trying different combinations to get out of the screen. It took a while bypass that feature but it hasn't come up since it was first installed.
It's a good value for the money spent.

I've never heard of a tv with an Xbox port-that's pretty neat & seems to be the wave of the future!

Wow ...TV with it's own port for the Xbox system, it sure is nice and price is reasonable too. Despite of some setbacks , it is still a good system

I hate those instructions booklets that are no help! Glad you were able to figure out how to turn off the Guidestar system. And yay for a way to keep some of the wires separate!
I remember looking at this TV but the side speakers made it too wide for our entertainment center... If I had an xbox I would love that feature of a built in port!
A built in port for the X-box is a good thing for it to have, we have had RCA tv's in the past and were very happy with their performance. Thanks for the pro's and con's of this tv.
