Read With Me Bible Story Bible for Children

I picked this book up for my son several years ago, but just recently started on a steady basis reading it with him. He went to a private (church) preschool last year, and they started teaching him about the Bible and he took an interest in this particular book. I feel that this is a perfect book for children to learn about the Bible. It is written in story mode and it is illustrated beautifully. It is divided into short sections so it holds the child's attention. There aren't a lot of words on each page, but lots of pictures. My son can read most of it by himself. He is 5. We read a small section or two each night and it is just the right length to satisfy him. I recommend this book for small children aged 4-8. Of course, you can start reading it to them earlier, and I would say by age 8-9 they are ready for something more in depth.
