Realtek Hd Audio Problems? By kravitz009 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When I bought my first laptop; a Vostro 1510, I noticed that I had a set of speakers called Realtek High Definition Audio. I was happy and I thought that I was getting loud speakers for my 2007 laptop. I went on Youtube to test out the sound. When the video I selected at random turned on I heard sound, just not a lot! I was truly disappionted of my "HD" speakers. I coped with it and later on started to get more and more technical with my laptop. So I started to find ways to make my laptop run faster, just not sound louder. One day I decided to see f I could make my laptop sound better by going into the options. I was messing around with the options and then I sometimes made no sound come out of my speakers at all so I had to stop doing that. Besides that, one morning I tried to update my sound driver. After updating my Realtek "HD" Audio driver, I got no sound on the internet. I tried EVERYTHING with no luck. I even had a Dell Representative go on my laptop and check it out. No luck there! The last resort was to just re-install my ENTIRE laptop to it's factory default settings. So I did, and that made me loose all my data of anything I personally did on my laptop. So this is my question to you Realtek. HD, really?
