Recycle Your GrillRust Oleum High Heat Enamel
By Geralyn Hydock onDon't throw away your ouside grill just just because it is a little rusty and has paint that is peeling. Be kind to the earth and recycle by repainting it with Rust O-leum's High Heat Enamel. It works miracles! I had noticed that my husband's outdoor grill and our fire pit was looking a little dingy with paint chipping. I wanted to buy new ones but my husband suggested painting them. We picked up this paint and went to work. when we were finished they looked like new products from the store. This paint is fabulous!
I found this paint to go on very smooth and it dryed in no time. It has provided a durable and long lasting finish for our grill and fire pit. The paint resists heat up to 1200 degrees F. Best of all, you can use it on grills, wood burning stoves, radiators, engines, and other metal items plus it also protects against rust and corrosion. This summer was the second year we used our grill and fire pit and they still looked brand new.
This paint is both very easy to use and it is very effective. You can buy it in a spray can or in a brush on paint. So I advise all of you grill and fire pit owners out there to go green and repaint you items. Not only will you save money but you will not add to all of the landfills. The paint works extremely well!

I've seen this advertised on tv. Great to hear it actually works, thanks for the info.
I need this, what I like to know is it totaly safe what I mean is it wont start coming off on the food or anything?
I am always saving and trying to mend things and it is amazing what a little paint and elbow grease can do :D
We have an older Weber that really is looking beat up. My husband used to use Rustoleum, but I never understood quite what for. Now that I do, I'll use some on my old grill and bring it back to life. What a great way to stop just tossing things like a grill aside.
I used this long ago on an oil burning stove and it worked great. Thanks for reminding us of a great product, and an easy way to be responsible!
I just purchased a new grill last year. I think I will pick up some of this as a preventative. Thanks.
This paint also works phenomenally well on radiators. The ones in my 80-year-old house were pretty worn and shabby looking until I used this paint to give them a sprucing up. Now, instead of being eyesores in every room, they blend seamlessly into the decor in each location. After 3 years, the paint on each of my radiators is still holding up really well!
I like to salvage things too, and the fact that it can withstand heat at 1200* is incredible. Not all paints can hold that claim.
What a good idea! It's easy to just throw away things and buy new ones. I think this is a great suggestion. I need to get some of this paint not for my grill but for my metals shutters. I think this would be perfect...just spray and you all just like new!
We've used this before. It is really great stuff! Keeping up your grill, just like everything else, saves you money in the long run.
