Have you gathered by now that I am a collector of dragons? This handsome fellow is a Hong Tze Red dragon made from resin and intricately carved with an incredible amount of detail. He is also very difficult to dust properly :)
My children purchased this fellow for me as a "just because" gift one year and he sits along with other dragon figurines on a hallway table where anyone coming into our home will be able to see him.
Dragons are very powerful, strong creatures and the Chinese believe that having dragons will bring you strength and protection. If that is the case then I am a very strong person and my home is very well protected.
Although I have many dragon figurines now, whenever anyone asks me what I might like for a gift - they will never go wrong with dragon!
