I received a new cell phone for Christmas, a MOTOKRZR K1M on a Verizon plan. The phone has been great so far, and the VCast services are good, if a bit pricy. What I did was bought a 2 gig MicroSD card on Amazon, then transferred all my music for free via a USB cable that was lying around the house. If you have a digital camera or mp3 player, chances are you have the USB cable you need right in your house. The speakers played the music amazingly well, with a great interface in the "My Music" section. There are good picture editing options, and the phone is sleek and beautiful. I would definitely recommend the KRZR for an MP3 phone, it has yet to do me wrong. You can probably find a cheap MicroSD card on Amazon as well. The display was very good, but the phone is very susceptible to fingerprints if you handle it a lot. I end up dusting it off with my shirt pretty often to keep it nice and shiny. I get great reception, the best out of my family for a reason yet to be discovered, and the battery lasted 3 days and 2 nights without charging and the phone being in constant use during the day. Tehre are cool features, but most of them cost money to access. Also, the mobile IM has hidden charges you must watch out for. Overall, a great phone and an instant favorite as a gift.
