Red Rock Resort Rocks By Twin2too on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Red Rock Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas really rocks. It really has it all for a fun evening out. For starters, the building itself is quite elegant, not like some of the glitzy, fake casinos on the strip. Red Rock is about 20 minutes outside the strip, a real local's gem. Outside the casino are fountains with fire, solid rock, beautiful landscaping, and plenty of parking. That's a nice start.

Inside are lovely walkways on gorgeous flooring, passing by palm trees, fountains and a noticeable lack of cigarrette smoke. Nice. There is a terrific international buffet, but also about a dozen very nice restaurants, a casual food court, a nightclub and several bars to choose from. The interior is spacious, open and very inviting.

The locals love the bowling alley and the 16 screen movie theater at the end by the food court. Right next door is an arcade and even a babysitting station where you can leave the little ones while you go out and have fun for a couple of hours.

Take a few minutes to join the Red Rock club, where you'll be given some free gifts and an automatic discount at the buffet when you flash your card. The buffet features international dishes, including an entire sushi station. The food is very tasty and fresh. Enjoy!
