Redwings...
By Steve Collier onA few years back, I got a plesant surprise for Christmas... A pair of Redwing Boots !!! Anyone that knows me will tell you they hardly ever see me in anything but short pants, a T-shirt or tank top, and tennis shoes... ( I'm a carpenter...What can I say?) The only time I wear long pants and boots is when I'm out cutting firewood, or playing music at the bar or something like that... These hand stitched, hand crafted Redwings have always been comfortable from the first time I put them on my feet, and after 6 years, its starting to look like it will be the last pair of boots I will ever own, because even with all the abuse I put them through when I do wear them, they are still in great shape !!! In other words, I think I'll wear out before they do... Maybe its because each pair of Redwing Boots are hand crafted with the finest materials available andare made right here in the good ol' USA !!! A little pricey... but seem to last forever... I highly recomend them to everyone !!!

Sounds like a great pair of boots. I am glad you are enjoying them and will have them around forever!!!
My brother was a trucker for many years and he always wore Redwings. And, the fact that they are STILL made in the USA is a big plus!
This sounds like something my husband needs, he goes thru boots fairly quickly, thanks for the info.
RedWings are terrific quality work boots! These are my hubby's favorite brand of steel toe boots. We used to have a local RedWing shoe store right in the neighborhood, but now the only place we can find them is the mall. But, they are very much worth the price and with proper care last just about forever!
My husband had to wear steel toed boots for his job as a stationary engineer. He loved them because they weren't stiff, offered great support and broke in quickly. Being made in the USA was a great big must for him.
It sounds like you truly got your money's worth out of your boots!! Red Wings is such an excellent brand!
Look like it is surely a good pair of boots, but quite pricey . anyway if you like the cutting and quality , price is secondary to all that. Thanks for sharing
Ahhh... good ol' Redwing Boots, with their humble beginning in Redwing Minnesota.
My daughter wears Redwings to her job and my Dad wore them for years when he was working.
My husband is in construction too and he wears redwings steel toes every day. They are quite pricey but when you have to wear them everyday you want something comfortable and something that will last longer than the average boot. If you buy the cheap ones you are just buying them a lot more often and equaling up to the same price.
