Reebok Anklet Running Socks By okyots on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
If you are a novice or an advanced runner, Reebok anklet socks will work for you. Regular cotton socks don't wick away moisture like the special running socks do. Running socks can prevent chafing, soreness and blisters. Also, the anklet size and shape means no extra material that you have to roll down. The anklet sock comes to just the opening of the shoe. Some people don't like the way that looks for feels. I think when it's hot out, the less material on your feet, the better. Even though the socks are thin, they still cushion your feet while helping with taking away the sweat. Next time you're in the Reebok store, check out the socks and see if they would work for you. I bet they will.

I had a few pairs of reebok moister wicking socks when I walked in the Breast cancer 3 day. My poor feet were still in bad shape and covered in blisters by the end but I hate to think what they would have looked like, had the moisture not been absorbed.
I think these are great for when you need to wear socks but don't want a taller sock to give you extra heat. I think these look cute, I don't know why anyone wouldn't like this style.
I love Reebok socks and especially these low profile ones. When it hits 107 in the shade here, the lower profile and lighter cotton help keep your feet cooler.
I personally hate anklet socks and I am also one of those people that hate how they look! LOL I am glad to hear that they work for you though! I just could not get over the fact that they are anklets! :)
I like wearing socks like this while running. Taller socks leave tan lines when you're out for a long time. I don't like the real shorties when they fall down INTO your shoe, but it doesn't sound like these do this. Thanks for sharing your experience with these!
I too love these socks when I power walk as they are the perfect height!
