Rehab Shampoo, Lush By HeatherErin on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Rehab shampoo is Lush's treatment shampoo for distressed hair. Mildly clairifying but loaded with smoothing oils, I find that my distressed (read: post partum thinning, highlighted, wavy/curly) hair is softer with defined curls, less frizz, and more shine. It leaves my daughter's straight hair smooth with a glossy finish, and it leaves my son's bottle-brush hair soft enough to lie down, rather than stand up in its usual assortment of cowlicks. Even my husband likes it after he's been working hard, as it's tough enough to get sweat and grime out in the first wash, but doesn't leave the hair feeling attacked.

While this is one of my favorite Lush shampoos (I consider it a core product) I do have to warn you, it's not always kind to hair color. I have found that like several other Lush shampoos, if you're trying to preserve your hair color it may not be the best choice. However, if you've made a dye error, it could be your best friend, stripping out the color without stripping your hair. Also, don't buy this one for the smell - it's pleasant, but this isn't a shampoo that will have you raving about its scent.

An excellent shampoo offering from Lush.
