Relive You Childhood With Sega Genesis Collection! By Pato on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

With the demise of the Sega Genesis and the lack of games available, fans of Sega's classic games were left helpless. But no longer! It seems Sega has listened to our cries and finally complied with the Sega Genesis Collection! Much praise was given to Sega in the early days and now you can remember why.

With 28 "classic" games, this collection is chock full of content. So much so that you will probably look at a few games and say "these were classics?". To be fair, most of the games in the collection are good. With obvious fan favorites like "Sonic the Hedgehog", "Ecco the Dolphin" and "Comix Zone" this compliation will be sure to please many. Some games however you'd rather not play. "Classics" like "Gain Ground" or "Bonanza Bros." will put you to into a "classic" coma.

Nevertheless with 28 games you're sure to enjoy something. I highly recommed this collection if only for "Columns" and "Vectorman". Although the rest of the games offer plenty of fun as well.

P.S. The full list of games is as follows:

Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle, Altered Beast, Bonanza Bros., Columns, Comix Zone, Decap Attack starring Chuck D. Head, Ecco the Dolphin, Ecco: the Tides of time, Ecco Jr., Flicky, Gain Ground, Golden Axe, Golden Axe II, Golden Axe III, Kid Chameleon, Phantasy Star, Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom, Phantasy Star IV: the End of the Millenium, Ristar, Shadow Dancer: the Secret of Shinobi, Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Super Thunder Blade, Sword of Vermilion, Vectorman, Vectorman 2, and Virtua Fighter. Plus a few more bonus games can be unlocked.
