R.E.M. is Life's Rich Pageant

I still remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard my first R.E.M. song. I was in Art class back in 1988. We were listening to the local classic rock station. I looked over to the guy next to me and I asked who it was and what the song was. The senior sitting next to me looked over to me and said..."Your kidding right?". I said "No", he said it was R.E.M singing Superman, on Lifes Rich Pageant album. I was hooked on R.E.M. after that.

This album has 18 tracks. For those of you have listened to R.E.M. in the later years this is a excellent album. Nothing like the POP songs that we hear them producing now, but a look back at a time when R.E.M. was more concerned about playing excellent music and not worrying about money!

Some of the songs on this album include my favorite Superman, Fall On Me, These Days, and many others.
