Remove those dead bugs from your car!
By Maliki2 onIf your like me and you commute alot, then you know the feeling when you go to wash your car and there are a ton of bugs embedded or stuck to the front of your cars grill or hood. I went looking for a product that would help me remove them as they sometimes almost had to be scraped off the grill.
I found Turtlewax Bub & Tar remover at my local Ace Hardware store. It was cheap at $3.49 so I thought I would give it a a try. All you do is open the can, put some on your cloth, and rub it in. Then you just wipe it clean with a fresh and new cloth.
This is a 16 fl oz can, and this stuff is amazing. No longer do I have to go to a car wash and scrub scrub scrub, I apply this and remove all those tough stains and bugs and there you have it! Simple, easy and doesn't take up alot of time. And its safe for clear coat finishes too! One other thing it removes is tree sap, and we know how hard that can be! Excellent product!

How gross and yet so useful! We take roadtrips for weekends away and I hate cleaning the car after that .... all those carcasses... ick. I never even knew such a product existed! I'll have to let the Mr. know about this one. Thanks for sharing it!
I wonder if it works on lovebugs? We are about to be invaded by them in Florida! I will have to look for this. Thanks!
Wow. I've never bought this because I thought, "How good could it be... just one more way to steal your money" But maybe I'll have to get some. My bugs are really baked on.
Sounds great. I have had to remove TAR from my car before (they are always working on one road or another around here! I'll have to keep this one in mind for next time I am feeling industrious :0)
I use this stuff all the time. I have tried many other products, this is the best. Thanks
I always wondered if there was a product like this-we experienced problems with love bugs in Florida last year & didn't know how to get them off our car-we should have borrowed your's!!!!
Yeh, I have some of this and it DOES work great!
This sounds like something that I could really use. I hate trying to get the dead bugs off the front of my truck.
This sounds like it could be a very useful tool to get those pesky bugs off of the car.
Thanks for the great information - this product sounds like a winner!!
