Renting from Alamo can save money.
By GoDigital onI travel often, so I spend a lot of time renting cars from various car rental companies.Unfortunately I have had quite a few bad experiences, like many.If I have time to plan ahead, I generally will rent vehicles from Alamo. After doing a complete price comparison across the board, including all the major car rental companies, Alamo will usually come out with the best price for me.
Most of the time I am fortunate to have extra discounts and promotional codes which help me obtain a lower price.Every time that I have obtained a price quote from Alamo, it has been considerably less than their competitors.I have never had a problem getting a vehicle I was happy with.
The employees from Alamo have always been accomodating, this being something I could not say for other companies in the business.If you have never rented from Alamo, give them a try.
I too love Alamo. Each time we visited Florida, we rented cars from Alamo and never had any problems. There was one instance when they upped our car to a luxurious Lincoln Town car. Their prices are great and I have always been able to find some coupons or discounts for them. Glad your experience with them has been good also.
This is my favorite rental company. We always get great customer service and with a smile ! I also look for discounts in books or just simply ask if they honor AAA or Sam's Club cards. They do! If you are lucky enough to have an Entertainment Book...you can often get an upgrade or two from a compact rental. But remember to make the reservation directly with the Alamo office. They won't honor the Entertainment coupon for reservations made on sites like Expedia or Travelocity. Direct = Discounts!
