Repel Strogg, Fight Strogg, Kill Strogg By jihoon on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

There is no sugar coating it, this game is mediocre. Although I think its loads better than its previous ID game, Doom 3, in terms of action and battles, its still pretty bland. The gist of it is to run around and shoot the enemy strogg over and over and over until you reach a plot point and then fight them some more and more. Expect to find lots of blood guts and gore but for a mature gamer this shouldn't really phase you anymore. The graphics, I got to admit, are pretty detailed in terms of showing off the guts of maimed allies or the grotesque details of the enemy. The multiplayer aspect of the game is severely lacking. I would have expected more people to be playing but last time I checked there are only 5 servers occupied. After trying it I knew why. Its a severe step back in Quake 3's multiplayer. Its slow clunky, and not too much fun as it's just the same deathmatch and team deathmatch and your grandmother and you played in elementary school.

Quake 4 is a graphically intense run of the mill shooter.
