This is a very interesting movie. You will either love or hate it. I loved it. It is a gritty and dark portrayal of 4 peoples lives who get destroyed by drug addiction. Four people all with an addiction of one type or another- heroin, cocaine, diet pills, start off with high hopes of life then succumb to their addictions. This movie is a tragedy and is weird and sad. The acting was very good and the storyline was well written. Some famous actors are in this movie- Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connolley, and Marlon Wayons. This is not a movie for the squeamish. There is nudity, cursing, drug use, sex- this movie was rated "R" for a reason. I was suprised after I watched this movie, it was not like it seemed on the previews or the back of the movie case.The one complaint I had of the movie was some of the camera angles, techniques, and split screens were a littly jumpy and could have flowed a little smoother. I would recommend this movie- if you can stomach it. Whether you walk away loving or hating this movie, it will not be one you forget.
