In January 2005, Capcom released Resident Evil 4. After receiving several great reviews, I decided to go ahead and buy the game at full retail price. Much to my amazement, Resident Evil 4 is a beautifully crafted game with an engaging story and a behind-the-view perspective that is unique from other third-person shooters. The game is different from other Resident Evil titles in that the camera is not stationary. This move makes the game much more enjoyable. From the misty and dreary backdrop in the pueblo to the dark and gothic castle, Resident Evil 4 features some of the best graphics in a GameCube game. These graphics still hold up amazingly well with today's HD standard. This game is not for the faint of heart. Resident Evil 4 is a rated mature for its extremely graphic violence and intense scary moments.
