Retirement Red Zone By Debbie831 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Ok it is something that we want but don't want to admit they we are getting old enough to really start being serious about retiring. I have to admit I never worried about any finances until I got divorced. I suddenly realized that it is now my responsiblity to make sure that I am ok.

I didn't even no where to begin but kept seeing a commercial for the retirement red zone. Granted I am not five years away from retiring (even though I wish!) but I figured I might as well start somewhere and see if someone can guide me through this.

I just started with Prudential but the first thing that I noticed is that they didn't make me feel stupid when I called and told them I don't have a clue what I am doing. They are very friendly and answered all my questions in English so I could understand.

So far I am very happy with the way the are leading me..time will tell but I really think they are worth talking to..at least to get ideas on where to begin. Maybe, just maybe I can retire in 5 years- Miricles to happen!!!

Why did you give this such a low grade if you were basically happy with them? I'm confused.
