Review: Michelin Pilot Exalto As Tires By Nostrum on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
The tires are 225/60/R15 and are on a BMW 5-series.
They are shockingly quiet. I have never owned an all-season tire that was this quiet. You cannot hear them over the wind noise at highway speeds.
Dry performance is very good for an all-season tire. I drive fairly spiritedly and I haven't even come close to losing traction.
The wet performance is among the best I've ever experienced. Driving through deep puddles is almost fun because I've not come close to hydroplaning.
In light snow and slush they behave as well as they do in the wet. It hasn't snowed heavily here since I've had the tires so I can't comment on heavier snow.
The ride is firm but not jarring. This probably contributes to the other positive qualities of the tire (stiffer tires have better cornering and wet performance).
They also balanced out perfectly with very minimal weight.
The only downside would be their cost, which is very high. I've put about 7.000 miles on them and they show basically no signs of wear, which is comforting because I'm hoping to get a long life you of such an expensive tire.

Great price for these tires!! Thanks for sharing.
I love that you drive "spiritedly!"! Even though these tires a bit more expensive, for the wear & tear you've put on your car, I think you're getting your money's worth!
These tires seems like good quality, even though they were expensive.
My dad always said Michelin was the best. Thanks for the information.
Agree with youn that Michelin are very pricey but they are of very good quality.
