Review Of Dead Rising By KrycekCrack on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Dead Rising is a whole lot of fun. Not only do you get to run around a mall and kill hoards of zombies, but you can do so in various different ways with various different items and skills. A 2x4, a shopping cart, a bowling ball, a firearm, a medieval sword, kung fu - all provide a means for you lay the down thousands upon thousands of the Undead. This game is also chock-full of Easter eggs (e.g. you can find and wear Megaman's helmet) and other little gems thrown in by the developers. The graphics are pretty good, especially on an HD tv, and the audio is fine. The dialogue, however, is atrocious - something to be expected from a Capcom game - and the plot feels held together by loose-fitting glue. Still, the game never fails to entertain and I can't wait for the sequel.
