I got this recently and i use this for everything from converthing video to play new games from 2008-2009 and its really fast , i also use xigmatek cooler and mb of gigabyte p35 so i can clock the cpu to 3.6 ghz for each core without any problems , so its really fast and good for everything ,i even convert video and play games without any problem ;] if u want to use this cpu more dont clock it cuz u make life of crystal inside less ;]also watch for good stepping the best stepping is G0 its final so if u get this stepping your cpu will be more cold so u can overclock the cpu more and its really good to have g0 stepping cuz u will get some bugs fixed ,other steppings are not bad too but some bugs on them are not fixed ;] and the bad news this cpu is not produced any more so u must quick find somewhere to get it ;] some shop who still have some ;]

about product intel are leader on the market of cpu they are the best ,my opinion is that if u have money buy corei7 if u dont have money buy intel core quadro q6600 its the best deals on the market better than core duo so u get more cores and its not really expensive in the future people will make more and more programs to use multi cores like 4 or 8 or more so u must migrate do 2 or 4 cuz 1 core is not enough :) , 1 core is enough only if u use simple tasks like i-net browsing skype msn and etc.... 2 or more cores are for multi tasking ;] Intel rocks!
