Hi everybody this hard drive is good and unexpensive these days but some of hards 500gb models of seagate have problem and his firmwire needs to be updates as soon as possible or u can loose your information so got to seagate web site and download firmwire and update to protect your data cuz seagate have serious problem who begin from end of 2008 and lots of his hards have this problem mainly on 500gb hard drives , i got this hard since summer of 2008 its good hard for not much money reliable and most important seagate are good brand so they have also good support u can also make good raid massive using 2 x 500gb hards from seagate for example esata is great feature and allows u to use your hard in fast really fast mode its like sata but its external ;]] if u buy this u wont regret;] more info about seagate -Seagate Barracuda is a hard disk drive series most of which operate at a spindle speed of 7200 RPM.
