Review of Sony DVD Direct

I purchased this Sony product after many frustrating hours trying to transfer video from our video camera to a DVD.I knew that there had to be an easier way.I found it with the Sony DVD Direct product.All I have to do is plug in the cables that came with my video camera, insert a blank DVD, and push the record button on the DVD Direct.How easy is that?My video is transfered right to the DVD.As it is transferring, you can view what is being recorded on the small screen located on the top of the DVD Direct.You can also burn photo DVD's by just inserting your digital media card into one of the card slots on the side of the DVD Direct.This product comes with an SUB cable, power cord, AC adaptor, software disc, and an easy to read manual.This product is so easy to use.
Is it really that simple? Wow! I tried to transfer some mini dv tapes to my computer...so I could burn the disc...it was a nightmare. I ended up taking the machine back to the store. It was something that I hooked up to the camcorder and then hooked up to the computer. It was nothing more than a mess of cables and total frustration. This sounds perfect. It is a bit pricey but if it works...well worth the money!
