Review of the Magna Blast pen collection
By Chenault onAs a college student and a server, it is important that I have a relaible ink pen at all times. I also look for unique pens as many of my coworkers have a bad habit of walking off with your ink pen. I saw the bright vibrant neon assortment by Magna Blast, and I knew I could easily identify my pen if I were using these pens.
At a fair price of about fifty cents each, I din't hesitate to purchase this package of pens. Overall the pens write decently for the price. The colors are bright and enjoyable. However these ink pens do 'skip' and they aren't ideal for class assignments, but they work fine at work, writing orders.
I probably won't buy the Magna Blast again, but that is just because I rarely buy the same ink pen twice, unless it is an exceptional writing tool.
The Magna blast neon colors assortment would be ideal for high school girls, or anyone just looking to spice up their hand writing.

I have an affinity of pens & had these & gave them to my niece! I agree with you-the quality just wasn't there!!
Arghhh I hate ink pens that skip and don't work! Thanks for the warning. :)
I think the neon color would distract me! :-)
The Magna Blast Neon pens have a 0.8 mm medium point and do indeed skip. But, if you purchase the Magna Tank pens (in the same "Magna" family) you will not be disappointed in the least. These have a 0.5 mm fine point and never skip. Im serious...I have had pack after pack after pack of these and they are amazing, especially when you are writing mass amounts of notes in class everyday. My only complaint is this....when you drop one of these pens and it lands on the writing point, youre screwed. The pen does not flow nearly as well, seems to have a great deal of friction against the paper, and skips. For a pack of 5 colors its less than 3 dollars at Wal-Mart...definitely worth it!
