Energizer Rechargable AA Batteries

I have been using the Energizer Rechargable AA batteries for almost one and a half years now for my digital camera. I am now on my second set. The first set lasted about a year. Since they come in a 4 pack, I always have two in my camera and two to keep on the charger. They take about eight hours to charge. The life of the battery in the camera really just depends on the amount of pictures I take. If I am out and about taking pictures all day, such as on vacation, they barely last throughout the day. Usually by late in the day they are starting to get low. If I just have them in the camera while at home and am only taking a few pictures here and there they can last several days, maybe even a few weeks. I am somewhat happy with them, but really wish they had the power to last throughout the entire day when I am visiting someplace that I want to take a lot of pictures.

  2. I voted for you on this review. I have used this battery for a few years now. I find that I had to replace them as often as you did. Wish they would last a couple days, but with all the pictures I take, I'm lucky to have them last one day !

  6. Glad you have the same experience with them I have; I thought they would last a little longer but I do a lot of short videos so end up needing all the batteries and more.

  10. I just got a new camera that no longer uses the batteries. I don't miss them at all. I now have just a camera battery that I throw on charge and it lasts for ever. Switch, I promise you won't regret it!

  12. I too keep an extra set of rechargables in my camera bag. I have a super fast charger though. It only takes about 10 or 15 minutes to fully charge my double A's.

  17. It's a bummer that they don't keep a charge longer - if you're taking a lot of pictures you'll run out of batteries before you get a chance to recharge! But I guess for that price, you can buy an additional set to have extras.
