My Melitta Mill & Brew Coffee Maker has been the best coffee maker that I have ever owned! My husband purchased it at Taget on clearance when our coffee pot broke. Melitta is a wonderful brand and they still sell this model at several retailers, but the cost is $69-99. There is a timer which means I can put the water and beans in the night before and then set it to start the next morning! We like to use coffee beans and this pot grinds too! You can turn this function off though. I love the fact that there is a basket included so I don't have to use filters. I just wash out the basket after each use. The other parts can go in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. We like our coffee ground medium - fine, but if you want it more coarse you can choose that level using the grind selector digital button. There is also a clock on the front. We usually make a pot of coffee in the morning and have owned this maker for over two years.
