Hope by Kristian Alfonso Crillon Jeans
Kristian Alfonso is a popular soap opera actress (Days of Our Lives) who has recently released her own clothing line on HSN. Although I don't generally buy things from TV shopping channels, these jeans looked so good I had to get a pair. I'm soooooo glad I did! These jeans are super-soft and comfortable. They're cut for a real person, not someone with the figure of a 15 year old boy. The waist is high enough that I don't feel like parts of me are ....uh....on display when I sit, bend or reach, but they're not what some might call "mom jeans". They have a great fleur-de-lis detail on the back pockets, and a straight leg that's easy to wear with boots, heels or flats. The jeans are very obviously well-made, and have quickly become my favorite "go-to" jeans.
The sizes do tend to run on the big side, which means that my normally size 8 figure can wear a size 6 (who wouldn't love THAT?!). The 2% spandex lends enough stretch to these jeans to be super comfy without letting the jeans bag or stretch out of shape as you wear them. The only downside to these jeans is that the line doesn't offer the jeans in specific lengths. Since they came with a 33 inch inseam, that meant I had to cut quite a bit off the length and then hem them to fit my 5'2" body. Oh well....small price to pay for jeans that fit great AND make me look thinner! Woo-hoo! I'll definitely be getting another pair. Or two.....
