My Experiences:
This phone, avaliable through Verizon Wireless, is the phone to have if you are a person who does a lot of texting. The QWERTY keyboard that appears when opened (hotdog style) makes typing just like a computer. Coming from someone who had a RAZR, the battery life in the VX9900 (enV) is remarkable. TO be able to go two or three days without charging while making frequent calls is very nice. The display on the outside is a bit small, but when opened, it features a large screen that is easy to use. With a 2MP camera on the back, it is one of the better camera phones on the market. Like any hinged phone, after some use the hinges do tend to get a bit worn, but after 6 months, it still functions perfectly. With the purchase of a memory card (or internal phone memory), one can put his or her favorite music and play it through the speakers with the built in mp3 player.
One thing that is an annoyance is the fact it is a candybar style phone. As someone who keeps a lot in their pockets, the buttons can be pressed. Waiting for the default 7 second keylock can be a nuisance at times.
As someone who sold cell phones at Best Buy for a year and a half, I can honestly say this phone is what most teenagers are looking for. The txt ability, the mp3 player, and the camera can have all what any kid is looking for; instant communication, music, and a way to keep those moments.
