AT&T Two-Line Speakerphone 982

I applied for a work from home job that requires a corded phone that is headset compatible.   I found the AT&T 982 2-line speakerphone at Staples and it meets all of my needs and more.  It can be used with one or two incoming telephone lines and has a speakerphone for hands free use.  The AT&T 982 is hearing aid compatible and can also be used with a headset.  You can place this phone on a desk or table or it can be mounted on a wall and does not require AC power for operation.  You will need four AA batteries to power the LINE lights, Auto Redial feature and for a headset to operate properly however.  I would definitely recommend the AT&T 982 for any home office it has  very good sound quality, 24 memory locations for faster dialing of commonly called numbers and conference and hold features.

  1. This phone sounds ideal for an at home business office. Since I work from home I read your review with interest. I like all the features, the speakerphone, the 24 memory locations, the sound quality and although, it isn't a necessity for me its hearing aid compatibility.

  5. Great review. This sounds perfect for a home business in which you'll be using the phone. The hearing-aid capacity make it useful for a larger population; it was a good idea for the manufacturer to put that in. It sounds like the perfect phone for you! (earned my vote!)

  7. This sounds like a great phone for the price. I like the hands free. Wasn't sure you could get that on a corded phone. Thanks
