My Experiences:

Let me start out by saying I am a die hard XP fan. It is the program I started out on and wanted to stay with, that is until my husband talked me into trying Vista. It does take a little bit to get used to, it almost seems like certain programs and folders were playing hide and seek with me. Once you do get used to Vista you will love it. I no longer have constant crashes or updates everyday. I think I would even go so far to say it has spoiled me. I now have it on both laptops and one desktop, the only thing we own with XP still on it is the boys desktop. It is rather expensive, but I do  believe all newer computers will come with Vista automatically. For someone who is adverse to change, I am loving Vista! It has a media center that is fabulous! It is so easy to run and it is a feature I do use a lot. I have really enjoyed just playing with all of the features this program has, I have had it since March of 2008 and just about everyday I find something new to me and I feel like a kid in a candy store! It does take some getting used to, but in my opinion it is so worth it.

  6. I don't know if we just have bad luck or what, but our laptop that has Vista crashes and freezes constantly. Good to know that others aren't having that problem!

  7. I'm really happy with the fact that XP accepted a number of older software programs that I don't want to give up. Dreading Vista in my future.

  8. The real problem with Vista is that it is a resource hog. It uses up the resources. JOEY
