Nutricious Toddler Cookies/Gerber Banana Cookies

My grandson, Cooper, discovered these cookies while at a friend's house. Like his friend, Cooper fell in love with them so GG just had to get them for her house. These cookies are shaped like crescents to look like bananas. What I found to be a great feature was that they are actually a soft rather than real hard cookie therefore they are less of a choking hazard. I am not saying you should not watch them when eating them but they are so much softer than those hard biter biscuits.

I have to let you know that they can get messy but my grandson just loved them as they taste so good. What is childhood without a few messes? Let's get serious! The shape of the cookie was also a good feature as it was easier for him to grasp them by himself. I would give Cooper them for snacks and when we travelled or went shopping. They helped to calm the savage beast mant a time.

What really hooked me was that the cookies are actually made with real bananas, have no artificial foods, no trans fats or cholesterol and that they contain calcium, iron , and zinc. Would you believe it , even my two teenage sons and my husband enjoyed the cookies. They felt that they tasted like banana bread which all three love. These cookies were truly a winner with my grandson, teen sons and my husband. I highly recommend them.
