My Experiences:

How many of us dread having to go out to warm up the car when there is a severe snowstorm or when it is just plain freezing outside? My daughter-in-law and son and my mother's cars all have automatic startup which has proved to be very useful. I wanted the ability to do the same thing so we had a system installed on our car and have been very pleased with it.

Thi system has a one thousand foot range, is diesel start compatible, and has auto/manual transmission capability. There is a run timer that is marked in 5/10/20 and 30 minute intervals and it has programmable cold start. You also receive two transmitters with the kit , one for hubby and one for me. Safety features include a six tone mini siren , keyless entry, and a dual shock sensor.

This unit gives you the best protection and provides the most convenience at an affordable price. It is built with the highest integrity and has not given us any problems thus far. It sure makes getting off to work on those cold, snowy mornings more bearable. I could not imagine being without it! I highly recommend it for everyone.

  1. This seems like a car starter with security features. The sirens and the shock sensor hopefully will keep them away! Great review!

  11. Sounds like a wonderful product. We do not get alot of snow in NC but I could see where this device would work great on our hot, humid summer days. Push that button and have the air conditioner on.... Thanks for the great review. I voted for you!!!!

  15. My mother's truck has remote starting and loved using it this winter. I knew it could be purchased for older cars that didn't already have it, but I didn't realize how affordable it was. I wonder if they can do it on a 1990? lol. Thanks for the great info, you got my vote :)

  16. Voted! Good review! Personally I have always been quite confused with these little contraptions. I mean...so your car automatically starts, do you still put your key in like normal when you go to start it? Do you still turn the key? If you don't how does the car shut off? LOL I feel like a moron I'm sure these are such simple questions....good job! Glad it works!

  17. I would love one of these! I think that this should be standard in all cars!!!! I also love the fact that this has a siren-what peace of mind for everybody but specifically for women who might have to be out late at night! I'm so glad you love your's!

  18. I love my car started and wouldn't own a car without one. I really like the sounds of this one, mine is ok it came with the car and I don't think those are always the best! Yours has way more range than mine does but all in all it gets the job done. Thanks

  20. Geri, your reviews are always very well written. I often look for them because I feel that you give me a great deal of information on the products that you write about and this one is no exception. Anyone who lives in a colder climate can drool over these devices that warm up the car so that it is nice and toasty so one can run from the house to the car without shivering halfway down the street waiting until the heat can be turned on! $199 sounds like a great price for this product, especially if that is the price installed.

  21. I would love something like this, although it would be for oppsite reasons. It gets so hot down here, I would love to have my car all cooled off by the time I leave. Thanks so much for the review! I voted!

  23. My last car had an automatic starter, I miss it very much. It's hard to live without it. Never heard of this brand. Glad your having such good luck with it. Thanks for the review.

  24. This unit would have been so nice to own when I worked in surgery. There were many times that I had to walk out of the hospital to a cold car after doing a middle of the night surgery. I think the range of this system would have started my car from the door of the hospital.

  25. I have wanted an automatic starter for so long! It's cold here in Canada, and even colder in car that's been sitting outside overnight. I'm going to have to give my husband an ultimatum: clean out the garage so I can park my SUV in there or get me an automatic starter - I think he'll go for the starter! Great review.
