NO MORE BACKACHES!

It is amazing how heavy my son's backpack is! They are finding out that more students are suffering with back problems due to the extreme weight of their backpack. Not wanting to get one with wheels, we opted for the Odyssey version. It is dubbed as a daypack but is extremely roomy and perfect for school use. Hauling all of the needed books and binders has been made easier for my son thanks to JanSport.

This company is well know for their excellent backpacks. You can choose from numerous styles and colors. The daypack has a 2350 cubic inch capacity in which you can store many items besides normal school items. My son packs his gym clothes, water bottle, and his MP3 player in his backpack. There is a V-loft security pocket which provides quick access to your CD player and valuables.

Other features include: a hydration sleeve for hanging optional hydration reservoirs, airlift shoulder straps, a removable sternum strap, a #10 silent zipper with silent zipper pulls; a padded hip belt that helps distribute weight proportionally throughout your body, and numerous pockets both inside and outside.

This product is constructed out of 450 denier ripstop packcloth and there is an internal frame that holds the weight of your load close to your body making it easy to maintain balance. This is the perfect bag for the high school or college student. It is big, durable, and best of all it is comfortable. My son no longer complains of his back hurting him due to heavy loads. I highly recommend this product for any student who needs to carry extremely heavy loads.

  1. I have freind that could benefit from this since he almost lives out of his backpack.

  2. These are excellent. They last a good long while. Tell your kids to wear them right. I was carrying mine, while taking college classes on one shoulder (see a lot of students doing this) and the doctor said wear it correctly to keep the load balanced. Seemed to help me anyway. Voted

  3. Jansport backpacks are way cool not to mention durable also. My mom often gets angry with me coz my backpacks often only last a month or two for me. But Jansport backpacks last a long time with time. I always use backpacks even at work coz I bring so much stuff around that a simple shoulder bag won't suffice.

  5. I love JanSport bags. They are good quality and they last a long time. We have had our backpacks for at least 6 years and they are just now starting to show the wear and tear of traveling. I think mainly because we tried to squeeze in too many souveniers !

  7. Packs with an internal (or external!) frame and a hip belt will always distribute the weight onto your hips rather than your shoulders if you fit it properly.

  10. I am sure some of my back issues are due to a very heavy backpack or messenger bag during high school and college. I love how the new bags are trying to help this problem.
