Say I Do with Dewey's
My Experiences:
I got the pleasure of helping a friend design and order her wedding cake a few months ago. We shopped around at a lot of different local bakeries in hopes of finding just the right one. Our final decision ended up being Dewey's Bakery. The wedding cake turned out wonderful and we were very pleased with the service that Dewey's Baker offered to us.
Pricing
The pricing per slice for the cake was very reasonable. She ended up paying around $3 a slice. That isn't bad when it comes to wedding cakes.
Design
My friend's wedding was tropical and beach theme combined. We went over her theme and the pictures of her flowers with the wedding cake designer. Ideally, she wanted a cake that would do well with pineapples but not be bitter or messy. The cake ended up being four tiers with an elegant floral wedding topper. Scattered throughout the edding was a combination of flowers and fruit pieces. I"m not sure how they managed to get the icing made fruits to look so real. The wedding cake design really fit her combination theme.
Taste
The wedding cake tasted wonderful. It was very moist but not so much that it was falling apart and all over our wedding clothes. There was a slight flavor of pineapple in the cake itself. It was just enough to add flavor but not be overpowering. I kept looking for chunks of pineapple in it but found none. The texture was very smooth and the taste was delicious. She kept the gorgeous topping to freeze for her first year anniversary celebration.

It is obvious these bakers are very skilled at creating subtle tasting but flavorful cakes. Add to that the highly realistic fruits, it must have been simply gorgeous. I wish you had a picture of it.
