Equate Triple Antibiotic Ointment is a great product. This ointment is comparable to Neosporin. I had a cut on my foot and it got infected. When it would not heal I limped off to Wal-Mart and saw this and bought it.

Now what I like about Walmart, say what you will about them, is that they carry a couple of cheap brands of products one is called Equate. The reason I like Equate brand medicines is they generally contain the same as the name brand product  (compare ingredients anytime you substitute Equate brand) but they generally cost about half of what the name brand product so remembering this I grabbed the Equate brand of Triple Antibiotic Ointment. Within two days my foot was not sore anymore and cut was healing. So I was very pleased with this product. This product is advertised as helping prevent infection but it seemed to me like it helped my infected cut.

Yes this is an ointment so if you don't like greasy put a bandage on it like I did or look for the cream variety. This ointment contains bacitracin, neomycin, sulfate, white petrolatum and light mineral oil.

Use as directed because this is not for large areas of the body its more for scraps, small cuts or burns.
